The Complete Preparedness Kit · all three products, 4 files · $65 CAD
All three, one price, four files.
The audit tells you where you are weak. The calculators tell you how much you need. The playbook tells you what to do at 3 a.m. when the house is at 9 °C. Bought separately they are $81; as the kit they are $65, and the $16 difference is arithmetic rather than a promotion.
What is in the download
| File | Format | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Winter Grid-Down Playbook | PDF, 43 pages | The doctrine. Nine chapters in threat order — heat, water, food, sanitation, power, medical, comms, security, recovery — each ending in a drill, plus the 72-hour drill with 20 numeric pass/fail tests, the cost-tiered build plan ($250 / $750 / $2,500) and the shopping list |
| Preparedness Calculator Pack | XLSX, 7 sheets, 298 live formulas | The numbers with your household in them: water storage in litres and containers with a rotation date, the canning planner that fails closed, calorie storage, winter solar sizing, generator fuel, wood heat, and tier subtotals |
| Family Preparedness Audit | PDF, 20 pages | The diagnosis: 75 questions scored 0–3 across ten domains, a Preparedness Index out of 225, four bands, five override items, and a remediation order that puts heat and water first |
| Preparedness Plan Template | PDF, 14 pages | The written plan: roster and needs, property risks, heat-loss contingency, a contact tree, the medication continuity form, go/no-go evacuation triggers, a drill log, and version control with a signed and dated review page |

How to use it, in order
- Score first. Fill in the audit and read the remediation list. It is the cheapest way to avoid buying the wrong tier of equipment.
- Then size it. Put your household into the calculators — people, days, floor area, peak-sun-hours, what you already own — and let the sheets return the litres, containers, kilograms, cords, litres per hour and dollars.
- Then learn the night itself. Read the playbook in threat order and run the drills. The audit scores a 3 only when the capacity was exercised in the last 12 months with a logged date and a measured result, so the drills are not optional if the score is going to mean anything.
- Then re-score. Ninety days later, run the audit again and compare the Index. That is the point of a number.
What the kit is not
It is not a new or larger product. It is the same four files you would get by buying the three products individually, at one lower price. Nothing is added, nothing is removed, and nothing is held back for a later upsell.
No physical goods ship. No water containers, no fuel cans, no alarms, no generator, no filters — the kit tells you which of those to buy, in what order and at what cost, and it is deliberately not in the business of shipping them. Nothing here is a food, water or fuel supply.
No course, no coaching and no support contract. There is a licence to read and print the files and a support address for problems with the files themselves.
No guarantees about outcomes. These are planning documents with planning figures, labelled as such, for a typical rural Ontario household. Your house is yours to measure.
Original, not relabelled
Every one of the four files is written from scratch for a Canadian household: metric units with Imperial in brackets only where you meet one on a label, CAD prices, CSA, TSSA, Health Canada and Alert Ready references where a standard applies, and no US federal doctrine reproduced anywhere. Nothing is copied from another seller’s product, and nothing is an American title with the units changed.
The Complete Preparedness Kit — $65 CAD
Instant download of all four files, one household per licence, unlimited personal printing, no expiry and nothing to activate. The workbook is a standard .xlsx file — Excel, LibreOffice and Numbers all open it, and every formula stays live so you can change the assumptions and watch the answer move.
